Scope of work:
- Aesthetic and functional tooth reconstructions, using advanced materials (metal-free       treatment, full ceramic restorations)
- dental implants
- rehabilitation of the maxillofacial system function by replacing the missing hard and soft   tissues in the given area
- prosthodontic laboratory
- consultation centre for facial epithesis
- cooperation with other centres within the Department (Implantology Centre, Centre for    Joint Health)
- Teaching of prosthetic dentistry– undergraduate and postgraduate
- specialised training courses within the Lifelong Education project

Research focus:
- study of the biomechanics of TM articulation
- 3D CT analysis of the inflammation in the bone bed of dental implants
- reconstruction of soft tissues by facial epithesis
- improved quality of life in patients with a cancer in the maxillofacial area
- compatibility of dental materials with modern examination and therapeutic methods
- co-investigators in research projects focused on: dental implants, disinfecting and therapeutic effects of ozone
